Ingredients
Directions
- Mix the dry ingredients together until incorporated. In the meantime, warm up the water to about 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the water and oil. Begin mixing with a wooden spoon to slowly incorporate the flour.
- Once it combines to a cohesive structure, pour out onto a work surface dusted with flour and being to knead. Knead for about 5 minutes; dough should become smooth, and offer a partial return to a finger press.
- Form into a ball, and place into an oiled bowl. Drizzle additional oil on top. Cover with plastic and keep in fridge for 1-2 days for a slow rise.
- When ready to bake, remove from fridge and preheat oven to 500.
- Gently stretch the dough on a floured surface, working it into a circle (or any other shape you like). Find your favorite YouTube video on working a pizza dough!
- Make the pizza of your dreams! Add tomato sauce and cheese and anything else you like. Toss it into the oven onto a stone (if you have one) and bake for 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool for several minutes before cutting.
Notes
I found that this dough is a lot easier to work when it’s been in the fridge a couple of days.
