Cheesesteak Loaded Potatoes
Ingredients
- potatoes 2-3, diced
- beef, eye-round 1 lb, thinly sliced
- onion half a large, diced
- garlic 2 cloves, minced
- american cheese 4 slices
Intro
This has a lot of variations, but is otherwise kind of bar food. It is a good alternative for when you do not have rolls for cheese steaks, but still kind of want one.
Directions
- Heat a pan on high, and add oil and potatoes; season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for a few minutes, mixing periodically. The idea is to get a sear on the potatoes.
- Add in the onions, cooking for a couple of minutes, then add in the garlic.
- Add the beef and mix well. The beef should sweat enough to prevent the onions and garlic from burning. Cook, stirring periodically, until the beef and potatoes are cooked through.
- Drape with the cheese, mix until melted, and serve.
