Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- sugar 130g
- brown sugar 70g
- Water 2/3 cup
- orange zest 3 oranges
- orange juice, fresh 1/3 cup
- cranberries 340g
Intro
Just make this every thanksgiving. It’s very easy and much better than store-bought sauce.
Directions
- Melt the sugars in the water and juice in high heat. Keep boiling until sugars are dissolved.
- Add cranberries and zest and bring back to a boil, covered. Cranberries will begin to pop.
- Remove lid after popping is done, then lower to a simmer for 15-20 minutes, depending on desired thickness.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes, then place into the fridge for 2 hours or more before serving.
